Sibel Edmonds finally speaks!

December 6, 2009 by prospectorsam

I’ve finally gotten around to this. This should be required reading for every American — at least, all who intend to vote at any time in their lives.

Sibel Edmonds, America’s most gagged whistleblower, dishes the dirt on who’s been trading Middle East info/influence/drugs with whom.

Seriously, if you don’t “get” that, you simply should not be voting.

“1984″? long a reality for some in America

“I had one last goodbye with my wife. … They told me she doesn’t want to go with you and it was her decision, we didn’t influence her in any way. They said you could talk … they led us to rooms.”

In tears, they hugged. “She told me all the rooms were bugged. She whispered all the rooms were bugged and they could probably hear it.”

Strange and culty doings in D.C.

What do you make of this?

I think it’s gut check time for conservatives. Are you going to be consistent in your criticisms and application of principles, or do some leaders get a pass due to being “on your side”?

help stop a vicious cult

April 23, 2009 by prospectorsam

The “Church” of Scientology is a vampirical organization which seduces the unwary into becoming hypnotized and mind-controlled minions, bled dry of their life, money, and energy in false hope of achieving “total freedom”. In my opinion it’s the worst cult anywhere. But don’t take my word for it; listen to those who have escaped it. You can just do a web search for scientology information, or check out the following links:

Xenu.net, a vast compendium of important info the “Church” would very much prefer you not to see.

Watch a 2 hour interview with actor and longtime Scientologist Jason Beghe, whose classic voice is heard on many Scientology videos and commercials.

Part 1 of 16 of an excellent interview with longtime Scientologist John Duignan.

There is literally more information available now than you can possibly absorb in a lifetime, and other than that controlled by the “Church”, it’s pretty much all damning. Look as long as you need to make your own mind up, and then sign the petition to revoke their tax-exempt status. Then pass it on to a friend.

Bob Tiernan for GOP state chair?

December 18, 2008 by prospectorsam

Well, well. A fight! Good. Now we have something worth discussing. So the question is, is Bob Tiernan a better choice than Vance Day? A second question is, do we still need someone else in the race other than those 2?

I’ll save the second question for after we deal with the first one. I’m not overly familiar with Tiernan, having only dim memories of him from his prior political activities (I wasn’t following local politics very much at that time). So I’m just digging in now. Here’s the first thing I’ve seen which I found to be helpful:

blogging about Tiernan

Here’s another Mapes blog page; this one is somewhat more tangential, but still relevant.

And one more from Mapes about the race, including some backstory about the recent leadership of the state GOP.

And now here’s what a Republican (and a bunch of commenters) has to say about it.  READ THAT ONE even if you don’t read the others.

Hmmm.  It’s still early for me, but I have to say I’m kinda liking this Tiernan idea so far.

Sorry I haven’t posted more lately.  I was just so excited about this wonderful election between these two fine upstanding members of the Council on Foreign Relations that I couldn’t… ehhh, by now you know I’m pulling your leg.  Truth is I just have been lazy about blogging.  There are some interesting things going on though.  I’ll post about them in a little while (a few weeks or so).  Until then… please do view that link.  It’s almost entirely pictures, for once.  No heavy reading!

If you don’t like the idea of that kind of thing happening here, perhaps you’d better bone up on the basis of our currency.  (Hint: it rhymes with “wet”.)

Gordon Smith is done

October 3, 2008 by prospectorsam

Senator Smith voted for the bailout.  From now on, taking him out of office is a high priority for yours truly.  I invite you to join in and help toss him.  You can start by promoting my friend, David Brownlow, who is running for that Senate seat on the Constitution Party ticket.  There has never been a better moment to “go off the reservation” and vote 3rd party, and Brownlow is everything Smith isn’t — first and foremost, an honest American who will obey his oath of office. It would be terrific to get him into the Senate.  Of course, that’s a long shot, but even if it fails, the statement made will be worth it.  The people have to take action, or we’ll just get more of the same — in this case, more debt, more broken promises, more socialist nanny-state government masquerading as “conservatism”.  Oh, and more bailouts.

No.

The image above is not mine, but it sure sums up my take on the whole mess.  McSame is currently enjoying some attention over having spoken out about the dangers of the subprime bubble as long as a couple of years ago, but Ron Paul has been forecasting all of this more clearly for much longer.  But, let’s not pay any attention to him….
